How It Works
1. Tell Us Witnesses Are Needed
Let us know when scheduling your appointment that the document requires or requests witnesses.
2. Confirm the Requirements
The client, document preparer, attorney, title company, or other requesting party should provide the applicable witness requirements.
3. Witnesses Are Coordinated
When available, Notary Royalty LLC can assist with arranging the requested number of witnesses who meet the requirements provided for the signing.
4. Complete the Signing
The witnesses attend the appointment, observe the signing as required, and complete their applicable portions of the documents.
Important Notice
Witness requirements vary depending on the type of document and circumstances of the signing.
Notary Royalty LLC does not provide legal advice or determine which witnesses a legal document requires. Clients should confirm witness requirements with the document preparer, attorney, title company, healthcare provider, government agency, or other appropriate requesting party before the appointment.
Witnesses must meet all applicable eligibility requirements for the particular document. A proposed witness may be declined if the witness does not meet the requirements provided for the signing.
Witness Coordination is a separate non-notarial service and may involve an additional fee. Availability is not guaranteed and advance notice is recommended.
