How It Works

1. Confirm Employer Authorization
Before the appointment, the employee should confirm that the employer permits a third party to act as its Authorized Representative.

2. Schedule Your Appointment
Provide the employer's instructions and any required forms or electronic I-9 access information.

3. Bring Your Original Documents
The employee must present acceptable original documentation as required for Form I-9. The employee chooses which acceptable documents to present.

4. In-Person Document Examination
As the employer's designated Authorized Representative, we physically examine the documents presented and complete the applicable portion of Form I-9 according to the employer's instructions.

5. Employer Submission
The completed information is returned or submitted according to the employer's established procedure.

Important Notice

I-9 Authorized Representative service is not a notarial act.

Notary Royalty LLC acts as the employer's designated Authorized Representative only when authorized by the employer or its designated I-9 provider.

We do not determine an individual's employment eligibility, select which documents an employee should present, provide immigration or legal advice, or guarantee an employer's acceptance of a particular Authorized Representative.

The employee chooses which acceptable Form I-9 documents to present. The employer remains responsible for Form I-9 compliance.
